I’m not from STEM field, but I feel very included here. There’s such a positive vibe from the students.
-Kierstyn Tsosie, University of Arizona
I’ve seen so many students from so many nations. It’s inspiring and rejuvenating.
-Sara Chavarria, University of Arizona
I absolutely LOVED this experience! This was my first AISES conference and it really shifted something in my heart. I'm so grateful to AISES for sponsoring me to come to this event and I will carry everything I learned and felt into my master's research project and beyond. Thank you for providing a space for me to navigate all the questions I've been struggling with in my education and research and haven't found an outlet to explore within my institution. It was amazing to meet other Native students that have similar questions and struggles.
-Student Attendee
Native communities should consider taking their students to this conference because it’s tailored for Native students. They will see peers, role models and professionals who they can meet and interact with. The presentations were educational and useful.
